CHRISTIAN MUSIC SITES
The following sites provide music that churches and other nonprofits can use free of charge. See each page for the songs available for download.
Royalty-Free Music
This link takes you to their page for Christian music, but they have many other types of music available. These do not have video, but if you use them for virtual worship you could put up your own slide of a related image and play the song in the background. You will need to download the song from the site and indicate that you are using under the Creative Commons license, which is free for churches and other nonprofits.
FROM YOUTUBE OR OTHER PUBLIC CHANNEL
Note: When a piece is posted on a public website like YouTube, you can pull it into your virtual worship by inviting people at the given time to click on the link and watch/listen. If you somehow manage to download the video and play it separately, you are violating the law and depriving musicians of their income. But if people are streaming it from the site where it is publicly posted, you do not need a license or permission since they posted for public consumption and are getting the benefit of the views.
The thing you probably don't want are the short ads that often come at the beginning of videos, so the selections below are chosen not only because of the quality of the music but because they do not have introductory ads. There are a couple where you might have to click off a pop-up ad.
