I have 18 years of experience teaching and writing about the Hebrew Bible at the undergraduate and seminary level. My particular areas of interest are peace and justice, the urban environment and faith, girls and women in ancient Israel, the lament tradition (especially connections to the African American experience) and ecology. I am a graduate of Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary (M.Div.) and Vanderbilt University (M.A., Ph.D.).
