Join the editors of From the Pews in the Back: Young Women in Catholicism (Liturgical Press, 2009), for a conversation about young adult women's Catholic identity.  What aspects of being Catholic do these young women celebrate?  And what parts of our Catholic experiences are cause for lamentation?

Jennifer Owens has spent most of her academic life and all of her teaching career in Catholic schools in Southern California.  She earned her bachelor's degree in sociology and a master's degree in teaching from Loyola Marymount University.  Jennifer recently completed her Master of Divinity at Harvard Divinity School and began doctoral studies in systematic and philosophical theology at the Graduate Theological Union last fall.

Kate Dugan is a PhD student in Northwestern University's Department of Religious Studies and an alum of Harvard Divinity School.
