Just as the Massachusetts Bible Society has Partner churches, organizations, and individuals, so we also hope to establish partner libraries that will agree to carry a certain number of our recommended titles. Libraries serve a vital role in making important resources available to the general public without cost. If biblical literacy is to flourish, we need their help. We hope to partner with public libraries in Massachusetts and beyond so that those who don't wish to purchase the titles we recommend can have free access at a library near them.
We are well aware of the funding difficulties of most public libraries. It is therefore our hope to find sponsors who would cover the cost of the books, so that those libraries willing to partner with us can augment their religious collections without having to augment their budgets.
