Jezebel. She is the wife of King Ahab, but is obviously the stronger character of the two. You can read about her exploits and misdeeds throughout the books of First and Second Kings.
While she doesn't seem to have captured the imagination of the classical artists, more recent times turned to her. Above is Bette Davis in her Oscar winning role in the film Jezebel (best actress, 1938).
