Bio: 

Nicola Denzey received her PhD from Princeton University in 1998 under her dissertation director Elaine Pagels. She has taught at Bowdoin, Barnard and Dartmouth Colleges and currently holds teaching positions at both Harvard and Brown Universities. She is passionate about chocolate, the city of Rome, teaching and advising students, and writing. Her most recent book is The Bone Gatherers: The Lost Worlds of Early Christian Women published by Beacon Press. Nicola has recently relocated to Providence RI from Cambridge and is expecting a second daughter this June.
