MBS Bible Grants Allocation

How Our Bible Grants are Allocated

There are many ways to look at the way our Bible grants touch the lives of others.  For example, you can read of the gratitude of recipients in their thank you notes or look at a listing of recent recipients.

As another way to look at our work in this area, we have provided some pie charts below.  Feel free to contact us if there is further information or detail that you would like.  We want to be completely transparent in how your contributions are being used.

Bible Grant Allocation by Purpose

The first set of charts detail the giving of Bibles by the purpose of the organizations and individuals that receive them.  The first chart shows the allocation by the numbers of Bibles given while the second chart does the same for the dollars spent on those Bibles.  The non-dollar numbers in all the charts below represent the numbers of Bibles in that category, not the numbers of recipients.

In case you have trouble reading the category names they are (reading clockwise): Students, Chaplaincy, Prison, Missions, Low Income, Homeless, and Elderly.

Bible Grant Allocation by Organization Type

Another way to chart the purpose is by the type of organization as illustrated here:

The category names (reading clockwise) are Individual, Church, Academic, Correctional, Social Service, and Medical.

Bible Grant Allocation by Geographical Location

If you would rather know where those Bibles went geographically, the next chart will illustrate that.

Bible Grant Allocation by Translation

And if you're most interested in what translations of the Bible are being given, you can find that information below.  We provide whatever translations and/or languages are requested.
