Massachusetts Bible Society Grants Allocation

Since 1809, we have provided Bibles and other related study materials to churches, prison and hospital chaplaincies, homeless shelters, and other institutions to help facilitate their outreach ministries.

Last fiscal year -- From July 1, 2013 through June 30th, 2014, the Massachusetts Bible Society granted $29,026 (5,698 units) worth of Bibles, Qur'ans, Exploring the Bible coursebooks, and other materials to organizations across the Commonwealth and beyond. So far this fiscal year (July 1 - 12/4/2014), we've granted 3,249 Scriptures, etc - with a dollar total of $16,390.

There are many ways to look at the way our Bible grants touch the lives of others.  For example, you can read of the gratitude of recipients in their thank you notes or look at a listing of recent recipients.

Feel free to contact us if there is further information or detail that you would like.  We want to be completely transparent in how your contributions are being used.

The Massachusetts Bible Society is able to sustain its ministries of Bible Grants, promoting Biblical literacy and nurturing open spiritual/theological dialogue through financial contributions from people and organizations such as you.
